While I am not particularly fond of the holiday, it has become a tradition for Anthea and I to exchange small gifts, as she is the most indispensable of my assistants. She brought me a slice of cake from my favorite bakery— a very small piece, mind you— she knows I can only indulge so much. I gave her a spa day, however she is is intent on never missing a day of work that I will likely have to force her into a day off quite soon to be sure the gift goes to good use.
